How to Buy a Domain on Wix

Sign in to your Wix account and go to the Domains section.
Click Get a New Domain.
Type in the domain name and extension you're interested in, then hit Search.
If the domain is available, click Get It.
- Tip: If your ideal name is taken, try variations or different domain endings.
Choose your registration period and click Continue.
Fill in or confirm your contact details, then click Continue.

Privacy and Security Options

Choose the level of privacy that fits your comfort and needs:

Private Registration + DNSSEC (Recommended): Maximum privacy and protection from DNS threats.
Private Registration: Your personal contact info is hidden from public WHOIS listings.
Public Registration: Basic privacy where only limited public info remains visible.

Note: Switching to a private registration later requires renewing your domain and selecting privacy options during that update.

Click Continue.
Select your payment method and complete the purchase by clicking Submit Purchase.

Want a Custom Email Address?

You can purchase a branded business email (like info@yourdomain.com) after registering your domain. Just click Get a Business Email when prompted.
